Skin benefits of yogurt OR Skin whitening by yogurt

Yogurt has natural bleaching properties and helps to lighten the skin and gives it a glowing appearance. It contains lactic acid that helps in exfoliation and removes dead cells and gives a healthier and lighter complexion.

The simplest way to use yogurt is to apply it  directly

Method :

Apply yogurt directly to your face and neck and gently massage it with your fingertips or leave it for 10-15mins. Then rinse it with cold water. This is the simplest way to use it.

There are some face packs of yogurt.

Yogurt with honey :

Method :

Take 1 tablespoon fresh yogurt.

Take 1/2 tablespoon honey.

Mix both ingredients. Apply it on your face and neck leave for 15-20mins. Then gently massage it and rinse it off .you can use it twice or thrice in a week.

Honey also has natural bleaching benefits and yogurt gives wonderful results. Honey also removes impurities from the skin and deeply cleanses it. It’s loaded with vitamins and minerals and also has antibacterial and antiseptic properties to give skin a clear appearance. Both of these r good moisturizers.

2. yogurt with lemon juice :

Lemon juice is rich in vitamin C which enhances the production of melanin and works for skin lightening and brightening. It removes acne scars and is a good exfoliant that removes impurities from pores and gives skin a clear appearance. It is also a moisturizer. With yogurt, its benefits are more.

Method :

  1. one tablespoon fresh unflavored yogurt .

2. Few drops of lemon juice.

Mix them in a paste form. Apply it on the face. Leave it for 10-15mins. Gently massage it and rinse it off with plain water. You could use it 2-3 times a week for better results.

3. yogurt and turmeric powder :

Turmeric powder also has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties due to the presence of its active ingredient curcumin. It enhances melanin production and improves skin complexion. It also protects the skin from sun damage and reduces wrinkles and fine lines and lightens complexion. With honey it’s gives good results.

Method :

  1. one tablespoon yogurt

2. Pinch of turmeric powder.

Mix them in a bowl to make a paste then apply it on your face and neck leave it for 15-20mins. Then gently massage and wash it off with water. You can apply 2 -3 times a week.

4. yogurt with oatmeal powder :

Oats come with wonderful properties of skin whitening. These have component zinc which had a vital role in improving skin complexion. These also contain other vitamins and minerals. These have good exfoliation properties and give skin a healthy and glowing complexion. With yogurt, these are good to use.

Method :

  1. Take uncooked oats in a grinder and grind them into a powder .Take 2-3 tablespoon of this powder .

2. one tablespoon of yogurt.

Mix both ingredients in a bowl to make a paste form. Apply it to your face and neck. Leave this mask for 15 to 20 mins then massage it and wash it off .you can use this mask twice a week for better results.

5. Yogurt with tomatoes juice :

Tomatoes contain citric acid which has cleansing properties like yogurt. These remove impurities from skin pores and exfoliate its dead cells layer. These ingredients boost complexion. Tomatoes are also rich in vitamins A, B, C . These also moisturize our skin and improve skin texture.

Method :

  1. Take fresh tomatoes and cut them into small pieces .Put these cubes in blender and prepare tomatoes pulp .

2. one tablespoon yogurt.

Take a bowl. Add both ingredients into it and mix them. Apply this mask onto your face and neck for 15 to 20 mins. Then wash it off. Apply this mask 2-3 times a week for better results.

6. yogurt with Rice flour :

Rice flour is famous for its whitening properties also. It has vitamin B in it and helps in collagen production. It also reduces melanin production and boosts skin color. Removes dead skin cells and hyperpigmentation. It has exfoliating properties and enhances our complexion. With yogurt, its combination is too good to use.

Method :

  1. one tablespoon of fresh yogurt .

2. one tablespoon of rice flour.

Mix them in a bowl. Make a paste form. Apply it on your face and neck and leave this mask for 10 to 12 mins then rinse it off while gently scrubbing it into the skin .use it twice or thrice a week.

7. yogurt with orange juice :

Orange juice is enriched in vitamin C and antioxidants. It prevents uneven skin tone and darkening. It’s a good exfoliant and moisturizer. With yogurt, it’s best to use.

Method :

  1. Take one tablespoon yogurt

2. one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.

To prepare it add some freshly squeezed orange juice and yogurt to a bowl. Mix them well. Apply it on your face and neck .leave this for 10 mins and then wash it off. Repeat it once every 2 to 3 days. Yogurt is an easy home available component which transforms your dull and dry skin to lighter and softer.
